Today is the 21st, which means Cody and I are moving right along with our scheduled re-read! Now that White Hot Kiss is done, we're moving to Stone Cold Touch, which is book 2 in The Dark Elements.
For those of you who are new, this reread is being done in anticipation of the release of the Every Last Breath, the final book to Jennifer L. Armentrout's The Dark Elements series, on July 28th. With that, Cody from Literary-ly Obsessed and I are hosting this re-read, with fun discussions and Q&A at the end of each book.
Many of you are on Team Roth after reading the first book. Well, prepare to be introduced to Zayne. The indecisiveness of your heart will be real, and at the end, you're to have to choose a team to join...
It's not too late to join us! We'll be reading Stone Cold Touch until the 28th, so you have tons of time to join us if you haven't yet. We'd love to hear your thoughts about any of the books, your loves, hates, and teams!
You can check out our Q&A for White Hot Kiss here for a small taste of what's coming up for Stone Cold Touch. For our own individual thoughts on White Hot Kiss, you can read both Cody's review and my review.
For the full schedule, you can go here :)
Every touch has its price
Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.
But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…
