Hi guys! I am beyond thrilled to welcome you my stop of Colleen Houck's blog tour for Recreated!
From Colleen Houck, New York Times bestselling author of The Tiger’s Curse, comes Recreated, the second book in the epic Egyptian-inspired Reawakened series, in which a seventeen-year-old must literally go to hell to save the love of her life.
Lily Young thought traveling across the globe with a reawakened sun prince was a grand adventure. Now she’s about to embark on the journey of a lifetime.
When Amon and Lily part tragically, he transports himself to the Netherworld—what mortals call hell. Tormented by the loss of his one true love, he’d rather suffer in agony during Lily’s mortal years than fulfill his duty to protect humanity.
Heartbroken, Lily seeks refuge on her grandmother’s farm. Yet she can feel Amon’s pain, and she has been having dreams—dreams of Amon continually suffering.
For before he departed, Amon gave Lily something very special, an item that connects them even though they are worlds apart. Now Lily must use this object to free him, and to free their realms from darkness and utter chaos. She will do whatever it takes.

all but two of those statements I have never done. I have dated in high school (for first time) that didn't last very long and I have slept past noon for a good reason :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, I must say, never sleeping past noon is definitely an accomplishment!
DeleteNever have I ever slept past noon? Well, that's just admirable!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about this series, it sounds amazing! I recently started the Tiger's Curse series, and I have to say it's nice to see an author who creates such original stories! This one sounds very original as well, I'll have to add it to my tbr list :D
Lipstick and Mocha
This definitely is an original story! I haven't read her Tiger's Curse series, thought it's been on my TBR a lot longer than this series was, but I want to get to it soon!
DeleteOh my god, what! I can't believe I missed this! *sob-sob*
ReplyDeleteI heard of Colleen Houck before and always wanted to try out her books and *I missed the giveaway*
Grr, I'm so annoyed at myself.
But anyways, it was fun reading Colleen's Never have I ever (:
I found myself relating to quite a lot of them ^__^
Haha, believe it or not, but I actually missed the giveaway too. Which is absurd, since it's on my blog, but I posted this, but then completely forgot to enter the giveaway because I was in a rush!
DeleteAgreed, I can relate to so many of her Nevers too. Makes me feel closer to her, if that's possible? ;)
Egyptian mythology is rarely covered in YA, I think! Pretty excited for Colleen Houck's Recreated now! :D
ReplyDeleteI know! There's a lot of Greek mythology, but there's hardly enough about any others, which is what makes this so fascinating!
