Summer Book Haul!

Hi guys!

So, summer is now in full swing. I've been spending all my free time indoors (I know, I know, but just wait!) doing...you guessed it, reading!
Which, if this post title doesn't give it away, means I've also been busy buying new books in the past few weeks!

Since it would absolutely rude of me to tell you all about my new books but not share them with you, here they are:

Allow me the pleasure of telling you more about them:

Recreated by Colleen Houck: I got an ARC! An ARC! From a legit publishing company! My first ever! Granted, the circumstances I acquired it isn't how people normally acquire ARCs from publishers, but it's still an ARC from the publisher all the same. I'm also getting to take part in the blog tour too!

United as One by Pittacus Lore: Yes, I already posted my review of it a few days ago, but I finished the book before I was able to finish this post! The final conclusion in the 7-part Lorien Legacies series. Mind! Blowing! It's been a long journey for those characters, and it's finally the end...

The Rose & the Dagger by RenĂ©e Ahdieh: There's a funny story to how I got this. A close friend of mine actually ordered the book on Amazon, but there was an mistake in shipping, and it didn't arrive. So she went out and bought the book from a store, only to find the copy from Amazon sitting at her doorstep a week or two later! And being the wonderful person she is, she gifted it to me. I still can't believe it. Thank you Bridget, thank you, thank you!

Steel and Stone series by Annette Marie: This includes Chase the Dark, Bind the Soul, Yield the Night, Reap the Shadows, and Unleash the Storm. If the fact I bought the entire series in one go isn't evidence enough that this is a fantastic series, I don't know what is. Cody from Literary-ly Obsessed introduced the series to me, and since then we have had our lives changed by how amazing it was!

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas: I know what you're all thinking. "Didn't Erika have A Court of Mist and Fury in her last book haul post?" The answer is yes. I read ACOTAR last year, loved it, but didn't buy it as I was on a book-buying ban. This year, I read ACOMAF, had my world completely destroyed by it, and bought it. Since it made no sense for me to randomly have just the second book of the series, I decided to keep an eye out for ACOTAR. And score! I found the hardback version of it on sale at a general store, since the softcover version were coming in to replace them. Ten minutes and a happy dance later, the book was off to meet its new bookmates on my shelf ^.^

And, as I mentioned before, I'm going to be taking part of the Recreated blog tour by Colleen Houck! My stop will be on August 10th, so make sure to drop on by then. I'm so excited!

So that's it for me! Have you guys read any of the books I got? Any plans to read them? What books have you guys gotten recently? Any summer recommendations? Let me know! :)

Also, good luck on your tour! I've never participated in a tour before (I have absolutely no idea how it works).

    1. Haha, they all do, don't they? I suppose "oh" is a great starting word! I actually probably wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out!
Yes, an ARC! I'm so happy! But if I'm going to be honest, I don't expect to get any more physical ARCs in the future. This was literally a fluke (a happy fluke) that probably won't happen again. But that's okay :)

  5. Well done on the ARC, that's always such a major accomplishment!! I'm not sure I'll ever have a physical ARC copy as it would cost so much to ship it over to Ireland and it would take weeks, so I'll have to settle for Kindle editions! Those other books look amazing too, I'll have to check them out! Great haul overall :)

    1. Thanks, Sinead! I was really lucky, but I honestly don't expect it to happen ever again. Maybe eARCs, but probably not a physical copy! But you never know, we both might stumble upon a possibility one day...
